Boys Varsity 2 Defeats Nazareth 56-24.

BROOKLYN, NY – The Boys Varsity 2 team traveled to Brooklyn, N.Y. Saturday afternoon with full intention of playing better than they did Tuesday versus Molloy after a 64-67 loss in a game that got away.
Scanlan came out again firing on all cylinders putting out the message that this one was going to be a tough out. Inside, outside, off turnovers the Crusaders were capitalizing causing Nazareth to burn a quick timeout to get settled. Scanlan just kept coming opening up an 18-4 first quarter lead that Nazareth just couldn’t come back from. The final score was 56-24, Scanlan. It was good seeing Scanlan Varsity 2 team play at the level they’re capable of.
Scanlan was lead by Kazyli Hamilton who dropped a strong 24, followed by Julian Mejia’s 16. James Bolton coming off an injury also played very well in his first game of the season.
Up next is Iona Prep on Monday, January 6th at Home.
